8th | MOVE TO YUKSAM – 1850MT, WEST SIKKIM:

9th & 10th | MOVE TO TSHOKA – 10,000FT APPROX
Trek to Tshoka | Establishment of Camp | Acclimatisation walk up to 11,000ft | Rescue Exercise and Own time. |
11th | MOVE TO DZONGRI – 13,220FT
Trek to Dzongri | Establishment of Camp | Acclimatisation walk to Dzongri top. |
12th | MOVE TO BASECAMP (CHOWRIKHANG) – 14,600FT, WEST SIKKIM: |
13th– 17th | LECTURE DEMO AND PRACTICE ON ROCK, SNOW & ICE CRAFT AND RESCUE TECHNIQUES – Base Camp & Rathong Glacier
Acclimatisation walk | Surrounding peaks and revision of mountain terminology (L) | Issue of equipments |Hyperbaric chamber including Pulse Oxymeter and supplementary oxygen | CPR, Administering Life saving injection | Bandaging | Ice Climbing Practice | Anchor Base – Ice & Snow | Jumar Climbing | Crevasse rescue | High altitude cooking and survival night | Casualty evacuation through Suspension and Tyrolean traverse | Practice of Distress signal and Helicopter rescue demo in mountainous region | Navigation and rescue exercises (day & night). |
